There may be a situation when you want to move Citrix Metaframe (4.0,4.5) data store to New sql server.
The technique is pretty simple.
1. Got to sorce SQL server, open SQL management studio
2. use copy wizard to copy the SQL database along with logins , stored procedures etc.
3. After the wizard finishes successfully, go to citrix servers & stop IMA service.
4. open mf20 file in citrix\Independent management architecture directory in notepad & change the SQL server name.
5. start IMA service again.
Note: if userid & password is changed then DSmaint needs to be used .
