Failed to create mailbox event id 1205

Hi Readers,

I have faced unique issue this week which has challenged many folks in L1 & L2 teams.

Here is the situation: the client for which I work has a policy that if a user is rehired gave them new mailbox.

In this case user was rehired with in the retention period of exchange mailboxes.

new mailbox for user was created but it blows up after 1 day. Mailbox gets auto deleted. Even creating new ad account & mailbox for the user is not working. It only works for a single day.

Issue was that user’s old mailbox was in disconnected state.

Finally on reviewing logs thousands of 1205 event ids Can be seen.

Solution to this issue is reconnect the old mailbox back rather then creating new mailbox for the user.
