Shoviv Exchange Server Suite

Today, I am reviewing the Exchange server Suite that can assist in recovery and migration of Exchange and Outlook files.

This software is featureful, it includes exchange as well as exchange online (which has become de facto standard now a days).

UI is light weight and fast as compared to other similar products in the market.

You can add the Sources right from EDB file, office 365 to ost and pst files.

For demonstration purposes, I will be connecting to my o365 tenant as a test, you need to have full access permission to the mailboxes in order to export them to PST.

You can either use PowerShell command, GUI or a free utility from Shoviv to do bulk permissions.

Here are the steps How to grant full access permission of mailbox to any other user

My test tenant is small, so I am selecting YES.

After waiting less than a minute, I was able to see the mailboxes on which my account has full permissions.

Note: I have not used outlook profile method as I want to check that it should connect without it.

Click Select and hit finish.

I can see the mailbox now and you can select any activity from the ribbon.

I am exporting my mailbox to PST , I can even split pst if it’s a large mailbox.

There are other options as well like message class so that is amazing you can just export the message classes that you want.

It has started the process and no issues faced. It seems like a plug and play software.

The speed of item fetching, item filtering, and duplicity detection is faster than other software.

In case your internet connection gets disconnected during the migration, the software will wait to re-establish the connection and resume the migration process.

Besides this, it allows saving added sources’ items into EML, MSG, RTF, HTML, etc file formats.

Software is not priced much and can be bought in three categories.
